Another sneak peek — Hurley-centric episode!

Hurley

Producers/writers Damon and Carlton sent another email today to the Dharma Special Access Group list. They write,

In less than a week, LOST season 5 premieres! You’re hopefully excited. We’re heavily medicating ourselves to overcome our anxiety.

On premiere night there will be a clip show, followed by the first two episodes. These were written as separate episodes, Damon and Carlton say, not as a two-hour long single episode, that just happen to have been scheduled to be shown together on the same night.

They write, in the email,

Episode one entitled “Because You Left” picks up where the finale left off, and the second episode “The Lie” is a Hurley-centric episode. Honestly, we’re very excited for you to see them.

Speaking of the Hurley episode, this week we’ve got a special sneak peak [sic] at a scene from that episode just for you.

Here it is:

You can also watch it at the Dharma Special Access site, where the password for this week is bharosa. (Bharosa is, in the words of a press release I found via google, the name of “a leading provider of fraud prevention and strong authentication security solutions.” Could that be a clue?)

Also at the Dharma Special Access site is another short video which displays the photos of the lead actors from a recent photo shoot, accompanied by wonderful music written by LOST’s resident composer, Michael Giacchino (the music was originally written for Carlton and Damon’s 2008 Comic-Con appearance.)

Enjoy!

bharosa - means “trust” in Hindi

Interesting! Thanks, someguy. By the way, I wonder if the company Bharosa was named with that in mind — it seems plausible, though a bit ironic, that a fraud-prevention company (which is filling a need based on a lack of trust) might give itself a name that means “trust.”

Hurley is my favorite character! I love that at the end of the clip “… the island just went Blip!” So him! :D Thursday can’t come quick enough!

Yeah, I love that — “Blooop!”

Hey, it’s on Wednesday, not Thursday. Don’t miss it! ;)

Wednesday?! Is that from here on out, or just this week?? I guess it doesn’t really matter too much, because I’ll be watching it on cbs.com - no cable, and can’t get CBS worth a darn with my antennae.

Yeah, it’s going to be on at Wednesday night from here on out, unless the network changes its mind mid-season. I can empathize with your TV problem — I don’t have cable and can’t pull in NBC. (Not that there’s anything on NBC I really want to watch.) Good thing that we can always get a lot of stuff on the inter-tubes. By the way, LOST is on ABC, not CBS. So if you can get ABC on your TV, you can watch it live!

Oops, you’re right. :) CBS is CSI, ABC is Lost, NBC is ER. One show per network for me. :D Unfortunately, NBC is the only one I can actually get clearly (other than Fox -yuck.) So, the internet it is.

Hey, if we could put your TV (which only gets NBC) and my TV (which gets all channels *except* for NBC) together, we’d have one TV that could get everything! ;)
